Abstract

In this article we transmit the story of a field work experience in which we aspired to carry out a de-collaborative research, but obsessed by the theoretical categories that guided our research. In this contradiction, at the beginning of the fieldwork our concern was how to make the subjects appear and talk about the terms of our research indirectly towards them? and how to combine our interests that refer to a research project of which we are a part of, where several questions were not following our interests or were not defined by us, aspects that undoubtedly stress the project, and in this game we try to explain a reality of which we are not part of, and trying to work with what the subjects of the place want to communicate. How can we propose a dialogical investigation when we do not cohabit this space-time? Is empathy enough to cohabit in a discontinuous way, and then think about doing research methodology? We will reflect on these aspects in this writing, exposing the contradictions that weare able to recognize and the way in which we tried to face them.
