Abstract

The continuity of the irregular modality since the Dirty War was extended and generalized during the restructuring of the accumulation pattern. To understand how the implementation of irregular warfare as a State policy develops and functions, in parallel to the new form of accumulation and reproduction of capital, the theoretical assumptions that this type and manner of war conduct implies will be outlined, to later show how it operates in the capitalist reconfiguration in its neoliberal phase, through the direct action of the Mexican State. To examine the role of war in the whole of the historical process, regarding the importance of the accumulation pattern to reproduce social relations according to the value-valorizing logic. It seeks to analyze why and how a specific form of war is necessary both for the establishment and for the maintenance of the economic, political and cultural system that currently governs as hegemonic.
