Abstract

The article problematizes some relevant dimensions of the political intrinsic to the dynamics of the communication regime in the context of Covid-19. From a political theory approach, some of its effects on the formation and integration of democratic society are addressed. The premise is that the effects produced by the development of exponential communication, already in place before to the outbreak of the pandemic, reduce the capacity of discernment of individuals and societies. With this suppression, the possibility of identifying cognitive, analytical and conceptual differences in the development of the pandemic is lost. Likewise, its impact on the challenges that will be observed in the new organization of the social and political order of democracy is accounted for.
