Abstract

The spread of Sars-Cov-2 has led to a change in the way women experience their pregnancies and in the way they give birth. This, among other things, encourages reflection on the current forms of thought and practice that support obstetric gynecology. Hannah Borboleta, a feminist midwife in Mexico City, moved from Social Sciences to midwifery. Morada Violeta, a collective that consolidates its eRorts on the construction and sharing of knowledge, the politization of self-care and the defense of women’s autonomy, is her most recent ensembled project. Parteraenbici, as Hannah has chosen to name herself on social networks, granted an interview that was finally carried out on May 3i, 2021, via videotelephony. She answers, but also celebrates the creation of new questions about this theme.
