Abstract

The article analyzes how the narratives of capitalism have contributed to reconfiguring the perception, organization, and spatiotemporal practices in the mobility of the contemporary city. The relationship between humans and technology (the transportation system) is examined, as to how unequal access and appropriations have implications for the vital organization of individuals and society. It´s proposed an approach from Critical Discourse Analysis (CDA) and the concepts of hyperobject and entanglement to fully understand the representation and experience of spatiotemporal organization and its manifestations in acceleration, immediacy, and immobility.
