Abstract

The present work aims to reflect on the construction of contemporary youth subjectivities in light of structural and conjunctural problems. More concisely, it is problematiced about the configurations of juvenile worlds based on the overlaps between the juvenicide processes and the repercussions of the pandemic context caused by the emergence and spread of the SARS-CoV-2 (Covid-19) coronavirus, which it has generated crises in various sectors of society. It is concluded, after reflecting on the issue of the pandemic and youth in Mexico, that although young people manage to propose life projects and deploy their agency capacity in relation to the social conditions of the context in which develop, this does not necessarily correspond to or translate into ways of thinking and acting that potentiate diRerent configurations of future projects that can direct and drive them towards an existential plane marked by the resolution of their material conditions, given the limitations, frailties and fragmentations that invade youthful biographical trajectories.
