Abstract

The families shape the “civic-political culture” through the transmission andinternalization of certain values: sharing living, civic responsibility, and soon. The family is infl uenced by society and what happens in the families extends to society. The economic crisis infl uences the arising of unstable families, whose disruption is refl ected in the increase of family and social violence that are an indirect expression of the socioeconomic crisis that is refl ected in families. The aim of this study emphasizes the importance of the family as the main structure of crime prevention in society.
